Collect three stars on all the levels of each planetary page of Angry Birds Space, and you'll unlock the space egg. These are special stages, where you fling eggs - not birds - to fend off pigs.

The egg's special power is making a powerful vortex that sucks any pigs and building blocks into its gaping maw. It then explodes, spitting the bits and pigs all over the level.
